Accounts and Tax Senior

• Annual Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Accounts and Tax Senior to join our well-established firm based in Hammersmith. Our team is dedicated to providing a range of services including accounting, VAT, tax, and advisory to a strong portfolio of clients across various industries such as property, hospitality, energy, and education.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns and financial statements under FRS105 and FRS102a.
• Provide tax and accounting advice to clients.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Identify and resolve tax and accounting issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Assist with workflow and job planning.
• Work under minimal supervision and be proactive in handling client queries and issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Professional certification (ACCA, ACA) with at least 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Demonstrated career stability in previous roles.
• Proven experience in tax and accounting in a professional services setting.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Xero or QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in CCH will be an advantage.
