Prospero Teaching are working with A welcoming nursery in the heart of Bognor Regis. The nursery are looking for a compassionate and experienced Baby Room Leader to join their friendly team this September.

Start Date: September 2025 or ASAP

Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible shifts between 08:00am - 18:00pm

Pay: From £13.96 per hour

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a nurturing space for our littlest learners-supporting babies in their earliest stages of development and helping them feel safe, loved, and ready to explore the world around them.

About the Role

As Baby Room Leader, you'll take the lead in creating a calm, caring, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-2 years. You'll guide your team in delivering high-quality care and play-based learning, while building strong bonds with both children and families.

Your days will be filled with giggles, sensory play, and milestone moments-all within a supportive nursery that values your expertise and passion.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the baby room team with warmth, confidence, and professionalism

Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support early development

Foster secure attachments and emotional well-being

Maintain consistent routines and a safe, hygienic environment

Observe and record developmental progress

Communicate effectively with parents and carers

Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are upheld

What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from you if you:

Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare

Have experience working with babies in a nursery setting

Are confident leading a small team and supporting colleagues

Bring a gentle, nurturing approach to your work

Understand the EYFS framework and child development

Communicate clearly and kindly with families and staff

Have solid literacy, numeracy, and basic IT skills
