Responsible For: Specialist Behaviour Support Workers

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Service Manager/Registered Manager to oversee a single-person supported living service in Slough. This individual has lived successfully in his current home for over a decade and requires thoughtful, consistent support due to a combination of needs, including learning disability, autism, psychotic illness, epilepsy, and type 2 diabetes.

This role is vital in ensuring the highest quality of care and safeguarding while also leading and motivating a team of seven Specialist Behaviour Support Workers. You will need to balance compassion with strong leadership, ensuring compliance with CQC standards while keeping team morale high and maintaining a safe, structured, and positive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide effective leadership, supervision, and coaching to the staff team.

*

Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and organisational policies.

*

Manage safeguarding concerns and maintain a safe environment.

*

Oversee budgets, resources, and service delivery standards.

*

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, families, and professionals.

*

Promote Positive Behaviour Support and customer involvement in daily life.

Strong knowledge of learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.

Proven ability to manage staff teams and deliver service excellence.

*

Experience of CQC standards, safeguarding, and partnership working.
