Job description:

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Swindon area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Roles:

* HGV Class 2 nights - Sunday to Saturday, 5 out of 7 shifts a week (weekends included)

Hours:

* Nights - 22:00pm - 23:59pm

Pay Rate:

* Nights - £14.91 per hour PAYE rising to £15.61

Location: Swindon, SN3

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

· Delivering palletized parcels to sub depots and delivery units & conducting collections.

· Using tail lift/pump truck to handle pallets at sub depots.

· Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.

· Maintaining a clean and organised vehicle.

· Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient operations.

· Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.

· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

· Excellent communication skills.

· A safety-first mindset.
