CNC Engineer

A role has arisen for an experienced CNC Machine Tools Engineer. The role would suit either a CNC Programmer, CNC Service Engineer or CNC Maintenance Engineer or CNC machine tool fitter/assembler.

As this job is factory-based it is suitable for a CNC service engineer who wishes to reduce travel and staying away. 38 hours week.

The role involves testing CNC machines i.e. pre-delivery testing and inspection of new CNC machines before being shipped to the customer.

The Role

Install CNC machines in factory and showroom
Carry out test procedures and document findings
Faultfinding, mechanical and electrical interface work
Write SOPs
Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday 8:30am - 3:00pmRequirements

Engineering HNC and Modern Apprenticeship
Strong knowledge of one or more of the following controls: Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain
You will likely have been a CNC Programmer, CNC service engineer, CNC fitter assembler or CNC maintenance engineer
