Tradewind are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 teacher to Join our partner school in the Clayton area of Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to class of 30 Year 6 pupils, preparing them for the transition to secondary school, and ensuring they achieve their personal best. This is a September position which will pay within the main pay scale, and you will be required for 1 full academic year.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum, ensuring all pupils make good progress.
Assessment: Regularly assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and resilience.
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
Communication: Maintain effective communication with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and development.
Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.Clayton is a vibrant and diverse area situated in the eastern part of Manchester. To join us and be successful in this role you will need to have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Hold a valid QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience: Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably within Key Stage 2.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment procedures.
Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
