Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistant

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting class teachers, delivering interventions, and helping pupils reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons

Provide targeted 1:1 and small group interventions

Assist with planning and preparing classroom resources

Support pupils with varying abilities, including those with additional needs

Promote positive behaviour and maintain a calm, structured learning environment

Contribute confidently within the classroom and take initiative when required

Essential Requirements

Previous experience working within Key Stage 2

Confident supporting whole-class learning and leading small groups

Strong behaviour management skills

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A proactive and flexible approach

Desirable

Relevant TA qualification (Level 2 or 3)

Experience supporting pupils with SEND
