Are you passionate about baking and creating nutritious food that fuels young minds? One of our welcoming secondary schools in Taunton is looking for a dedicated School Baker to join their catering team.

• Preparing fresh bread, cakes, pastries, and baked items daily for students and staff
• Following set menus and nutritional guidelines
• Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times
• Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy service periods
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Managing stock levels and reporting shortages

• Previous experience in baking or catering (school experience beneficial but not essential)
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• A positive, reliable and proactive attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to apply)
