A dynamic and well-respected school in Reading is seeking a Design and Technology Teacher to start in September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for KS5 depending on the candidate's specialism and experience.

The Design and Technology department is equipped with cutting-edge facilities including CAD/CAM resources, 3D printers, a laser cutter, and newly refurbished workshops. The curriculum offers a range of specialisms including Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, and Textiles.

The school encourages innovation and interdisciplinary work, and the successful DT Teacher will have the opportunity to contribute to cross-curricular STEAM initiatives. Student outcomes are strong, and the department has a history of students progressing to careers in architecture, design, and engineering.

Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified DT Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
• Experience teaching across a range of DT disciplines
• Confidence with workshop machinery and health & safety protocols
• Interest in design innovation and sustainability in education
• Excellent classroom management and teamwork skills
• Legal right to work in the UK
