The VP, HR translates the business plans into HR strategic initiatives, champions the company’s values and culture, and drives the company’s ability to attract, engage and retain a high-performing workforce. The VP, HR establishes and oversees the implementation of programs that support the short- and long-term strategies ensuring global scalability, consistency, and a strong focus on maintaining the culture that is so valued at TeleTracking. The VP, HR collaborates with other senior leadership team members and is a trusted advisor to the President and CEO. This position also serves as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and as such, leads cross functional teams on corporate initiatives not necessarily contained in Human Resources. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Fosters and promotes the culture and mission of TeleTracking Technologies throughout all corporate initiates, policies, procedures, and improvement programs. Evaluates and advises on the impact of short- and long-range planning and new programs as those items impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of the employees of TeleTracking. Leads the implementation of short and long-term HR department goals, objectives, policies and operational procedures. Leads the development of progressive and proactive compensation and benefit programs to provide motivation, incentives and rewards for effective performance and to provide programs which utilize employee and company partnership for the short and long-range health and welfare protection of TeleTracking employees . Leads the internal learning and development initiatives. Creates and fosters a learning culture. Ensures the training strategies are focused on the personal, professional, and organizational needs while providing the training needed to enable the organization to achieve its mission. Leads talent management/recruiting efforts to identify top talent within and outside the organization for all positions . Oversees HR Business Partner(s) on employee relations complaints, disputes, and developmental plans in the best interest of employee and organization. EDUCATION Bachelor ’ s degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field Master’s degree preferred EXPERIENCE 10 years leading a Human Resources function with experience fostering a high-performing, employee-focused culture 15 years of progressive Human Resources experience preferred Proven results in recruitment and retention practices and strategies Experience in the creation and implementation of long-term benefit and compensation strategies Experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments SKILLS Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings at the employee and executive level Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organization skills with ability to prioritize Ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of employees Professional written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills Management and accountability of a departmental budget WORK ENVIRONMENT and TRAVEL This position may require travel and/or overnight international travel.
