Class 1 Trunking Driver - NottinghamGi Group are recruiting Class 1 Drivers to support the transport operation of a well-known, prestigious pharmaceutical company. If you're confident behind the wheel and adaptable to different routes, we'd love to hear from you.Shift Details: · Shifts Available: Thursday to Monday - Start Times Between 13:00-20:00· Pay rates: Weekdays - £17.25 per hour Week Nights - £18.37 per hour Weekend - £23.19 per hour Overtime rates availableWhat we're looking for: · Category C+E License, DIGI and CPC card· 12 months experience driving Class 1 vehicles· Clean driving licence record with no more than 6 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)Role Accountabilities:· Carrying out vehicle safety checks and maintenance to ensure legal roadworthiness· Transport goods safely from Beeston to one (sometimes two) of 15 CDCs nationwide· Ensure that the health and safety standards and practices are followedTechnical skills:· Able to follow instructions, work to deadlines· Be comfortable driving Class 1 vehicles on different sites· Be open to cross training to drive tug shunter vehiclesWhy join GI Group?
