Science Teacher - Outstanding School - Wandsworth (September 2025 Start)

This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5). Responsibilities:

The successful Science Teacher will plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Key Stage 3, and at least one specialism at Key Stage 4 (GCSE), with potential to teach A-Level for a suitable candidate. You will create a stimulating learning environment that encourages inquiry-based learning and practical experimentation. Assessing student progress, providing effective feedback, and contributing to the collaborative Science department are key expectations for this Science Teacher role. An excellent Science Teacher is sought.

Requirements:

Applicants must be a qualified Science Teacher (QTS) with a degree in a relevant Science subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a combined Science). Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level is essential. Strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a passion for inspiring students in all scientific disciplines are required.
