Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a consultancy client with one of their customers. This is a new opportunity driven by client demand and project expansion. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of business analysis experience, data profiling expertise, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver 2-3 internal and/or client-facing data projects simultaneously
• Liaise directly with clients to gather requirements, document use cases, and map processes
• Work hands-on with new data sets - profiling and documenting data transformation requirements
• Create clear and precise documentation to support an India-based development team
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, developers, and senior business partners
• Support successful project delivery through clear communication and proactive issue resolution

• Positive engagement with stakeholders, particularly in challenging or ambiguous situations
• Contribution to successful scaling and ongoing client engagement
• Demonstrated self-sufficiency and initiative in managing workload and timelines

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in business analysis across digital and data-driven projects
• Hands-on skills in:
  • SQL
  • Power BI
  • Data modelling concepts - logical models, normalisation, data cleansing
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Background

• Moved from a technical role into a Business Analyst career
• Previous consulting experience (Big 4 or boutique firms)
• Experience with customer journey or digital projects
• Proven ability to work effectively with offshore delivery teams
• Ability to self-manage and proactively identify project risks or opportunities
