Year 3 Class Teacher - Preston

Humly is recruiting a Year 3 Class Teacher to join a primary school on a temporary basis.

This is a full-time role starting 13 April 2026 and continuing until 17 July 2026. This role would suit a confident and committed practitioner who can deliver high-quality teaching within Key Stage 2 and create an engaging classroom environment where pupils can thrive academically and socially. ECTs are welcome to apply.

What You'll Be Doing

Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 3 pupils across the curriculum

Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing timely feedback

*

Implement strategies to support positive behaviour and learning outcomes

*

Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and school initiatives

*

Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment

*

Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress

What You'll Bring

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 or a willingness to develop skills as an ECT

*

Strong classroom management and organisational skills

*

Ability to adapt teaching to meet individual pupil needs

*

A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment

*

Enthusiasm and passion for teaching
