Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Operative (Joinery / Assembly) on behalf of our client based in Braintree.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business at the early stages of developing a new production function. You’ll play a key role in building and shaping a new team focused on door assembly and installation within a factory environment.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To support the production and assembly of doors and frames within a workshop setting, ensuring high levels of quality, accuracy and efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assembling and fitting doors into frames within a factory environment
• Using hand tools such as drills and screwdrivers to complete installations
• Supporting the development of new processes and ways of working within the department
• Operating machinery when required as part of the production process
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard with strong attention to detail
• Working collaboratively within a team to meet production targets

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assisting in setting up and improving workshop processes
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience within joinery, carpentry, assembly or a similar hands-on role
• Confident using hand tools such as drills and screwdrivers
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work
• Willingness to learn and operate machinery when required
• Positive, proactive attitude with a “can do” approach
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Working Pattern & Benefits:

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm. Friday 6am-12pm.

Salary: £30,160 (DOE)
