Pay: £140 - £220 per day (DOE)
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the Opportunity

Astro Education is currently recruiting a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to support a secondary school based in Cheshire East.

We are working in close partnership with a supportive secondary school seeking a talented MFL Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons, primarily in German, French and/or Spanish, across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for stability and continuity while making a lasting impact within a single school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons (German, French and/or Spanish) across Key Stages 3 and 4

*

Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum

*

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

*

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

*

Manage classroom behaviour effectively

*

Work collaboratively with department staff and follow safeguarding procedures

Requirements

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent (Cover Supervisors without QTS will also be considered)

*

Experience teaching MFL in a secondary school setting

*

Strong subject knowledge in German, French and/or Spanish

*

Excellent classroom management skills

*

Strong communication and organisational abilities

*

A passion for languages and cultural learning

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

*

Eligibility to work in the UK
