Are you a Psychology Graduate who is hoping to go on to become a teacher or an aspiring Educational or Clinical Psychologist keen to gain further experience with SEN children before undertaking a MA or Ph.D?
Milk Education is currently looking for enthusiastic graduates to work in Primary and SEND Schools across the south of Manchester on a long-term and ad-hoc basis. No two days as a Graduate Teaching Assistant will be the same - you will work with a range of different children and classes to support the teacher in raising attainment, dealing with behaviour professionally and positively, and fostering a positive learning environment. You will use your passion and enthusiasm in a school environment to motivate and inspire young students.
The chosen Psychology Graduate will have the responsibility of providing differentiated support both inside and outside of the classroom to amplify academic ability in certain core subjects as well as helping them to integrate effectively with the rest of the class. Duties will also include running planned programs and activities to assist the pupils' learning and social needs as well as providing overall support to the classroom whilst the teacher is delivering planned lessons.
To apply for this position candidates must:
• Hold a degree in Psychology
• Have a desire to pursue a career within education or educational Psychology
• Have recent experience of working with young people - ideally primary aged children (voluntary welcome)
• Be proactive with a naturally positive attitude towards teaching and learning
If you are a passionate and driven Psychology graduate, please upload your CV for consideration or apply directly. For further information on this role, please contact the Manchester Team on #removed#.
