We are delighted to be recruiting a Spanish Teaching Assistant for a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Slough. Beginning in January 2026, this full-time role will run until the end of the academic year in July 2026.

This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about language learning - and because of the nature of the role, Spanish must be your first language or you must be completely fluent across speaking, reading, and writing.

Your Role in the School as Spanish Teaching Assistant

You will work within the Spanish department, supporting students in Years 7-10. The school is committed to nurturing curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every learner, and your language expertise will play a key role in achieving this.

Daily Responsibilities

Supporting teachers during Spanish lessons

Working with small groups and individual students

Following guidance from the SENCo

Assisting students with additional learning needs

Bringing enthusiasm, patience, and a collaborative approach
