Senior Technical Project Manager
Our client within the Retai arena have embarked on a journey to provide a true omnichannel experience for there customers. One of the core enablers is the introduction of a new Omnichannel Frontend which will:
- Implement a leading-edge technology to provide inspirational content and a personalised experience
- Empower our omni-colleagues with more information and greater ability to service our customers
- Launch a new transactional app with improved features driving customer loyalty
This role will lead and ensure successful delivery of the change through the definition, design, delivery and go-live stages of the project. The role will work within a wider programme of change; working in partnership with our business, commercial, online, stores, marketing, IT and wider Group functions across our business.
So you must have the following skills & expereince to apply these are all essential:
- Implement a leading-edge technology to provide inspirational content and a personalised experience either Mulesoft & or Salesforce from start to finish within a retail / Telco client.

- Launch a new transactional app with improved features driving customer loyalty
This role will lead and ensure successful delivery of the change through the definition, design, delivery and go-live stages of the project. The role will work within a wider programme of change; working in partnership with our business, commercial, online, stores, marketing, IT and wider Group functions across our business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Representation of the project workstream at daily stand-up meeting and work with the programme PMO to input in to the weekly programme board meetings.
- Accountable for all aspect of delivery of the project workstream, including dependency management, risk and issues, budget tracking and owning the close down
- Plan and design the project and proactively monitor its progress, reassess priorities, resolve resource conflicts, and agree additions, deletions or modifications to scope
- Ensure the project implements capabilities which measurably meet the requirements and strategic needs of our business
- Pro-actively manage communications with stakeholders
- Manage the project budget to ensure business benefits are achieved in a cost-efficient manner
- Provide strong leadership and manage the performance of the project delivery teams (in-house and 3rd party partners)
- Develop and implement an effective programme governance structure across the project
- Manage schedule and resource dependencies to mitigate potential conflict between programmes to keep timelines on track
- Experience
- Commerce experience (5 years+) working in Retail or FMCG is essential
- Experience of having successfully managed on and offshore delivery teams using a matrix management model
- A technical background having delivered new system and / or application through the full delivery lifecycle (initiation through to implementation)

- Bachelor's Degree level educated
- Project Management Qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or si
