Nursery Room Leader

Nursery People have an exciting vacancy for a Nursery Room Leader with a wonderful nursery in near Chertsey in Surrey.

You will be joining a friendly nursery with children squarely at the heart of everything they do. You will support the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of the children as well as being part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn. As a room leader you will have previous experience of supervising and supporting staff across the nursery. You will be sure to keep all them happy with a big smile on their faces.

Responsibilities:

• Creating a fun, educational setting for all children and ensuring their safety at all times
• Manage the room setting and communicate roles to the room team
• Effectively deliver the EYFS framework and ensuring that the individual needs and interests of children are met
• Follow and champion nursery process and procedures

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum of a relevant and recognised level 3 childcare qualification along with previous experience of managing or leading a team
• Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
• Clear communication skills
• Able To work as part of a team
