Teach Now is delighted to be recruiting a driven and inspiring Head of Geography to join a high-achieving secondary academy in Hertfordshire this September. About the Role: Head of Geography:

• Lead the Geography department across KS3-KS5 with vision and ambition.
• Full teaching timetable, combined with leadership and development responsibilities.
• Work within a school committed to helping every student succeed and thrive, building confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
• Amazing, modern facilities and abundant resources make this a truly inspiring place to teach.
• Interview process is flexible — an informal coffee meeting or Teams chat can kick off the process before formal interview.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong subject expertise in Geography and a clear passion for developing the next generation of geographers.
• Prior experience in leadership or a desire to take the next step into a Head of Department role.
• A collaborative, energetic approach to working with colleagues across the academy.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, but outstanding Geography specialists with relevant school experience are welcome to apply.
