Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and detail-focused Property Paralegal to join a legal firm's newly established office in South Lanarkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing team, where you will play an integral role in supporting a busy conveyancing department. Applicants must have prior experience in Scottish conveyancing and a strong understanding of Scottish property law.

Key Responsibilities

Property Transactions:
Provide support across the full lifecycle of residential and commercial transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.

Documentation:
Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, title deeds, and leases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.

Client & Stakeholder Liaison:
Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties, delivering clear and timely updates.

File Management:
Maintain accurate and well-organised case files, ensuring all documentation is current and deadlines are consistently met.

Land Registration:
Assist with Land Register applications, ensuring all submissions meet current regulatory requirements.

Financial Support:
Support the preparation of completion statements, client accounts, and other financial aspects of conveyancing transactions.

Administrative Duties:
Provide general administrative support, including diary management, scheduling meetings, and drafting correspondence on behalf of solicitors.

Essential Requirements

* Previous experience in a Conveyancing Paralegal role or similar within a legal or property environment.

* Strong working knowledge of Scottish conveyancing and property law.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

* High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
