Teaching Personnel are working closely with a coeducational school in Portsmouth, seeking a Lead Practitioner of MFL for September 2025.  This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher to increase leadership and drive the curriculum forward.

The role:

The role involves leading the development of high-quality teaching and learning within the Modern Foreign Languages faculty to secure outstanding outcomes for all students. The successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Headteacher for Teaching and Learning and play a key role in shaping the school's pedagogical approach, ensuring alignment with Trust-wide principles. Additionally, they will contribute to the delivery of the Personal Development Curriculum, promoting students' physical and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day. As a tutor, they will engage with the wider House system and actively support its ethos, while consistently modelling and exceeding the school's expected teaching and learning standards.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
