Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Designs master production schedule for Akron Plant and Co-pack facilities establishing sequence and lead time for each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
Responsible for all material purchasing based on a min/max methodology.
Utilize all resources to reduce plant costs through purchasing & material consumption reduction.
Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates - Providing information pertinent to materials & scheduling.
Making Decisions and Solving Problems - Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings - Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the equipment, to detect or assess problems.

Oversee requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.
Confer with all departments or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess
completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
Compile information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, or customer information, so that status reports can be completed.
Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering.
Calculate figures, such as required amounts of labor or materials, manufacturing costs, or wages, using pricing schedules, adding machines, calculators, or computers.
Provide documentation and information to account for delays, difficulties, or changes to cost estimates.
Plan production commitments or timetables for business units, specific programs, or jobs, using sales forecasts.
