Associate Electrical Engineer - Building Services

Reading (Hybrid)

An established and growing building services consultancy is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to join their team in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on a leadership role, working across a diverse portfolio including commercial, residential, data centres, industrial, and leisure projects.

The Role

Lead electrical design delivery across multiple projects

Oversee technical outputs including calculations, drawings, and specifications

Manage and support project teams, ensuring quality and efficiency

Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders

Contribute to project planning, resourcing, and commercial performance

Mentor and develop junior engineers

About You

Degree/HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering

Strong consultancy background with experience delivering projects across RIBA stages

Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships

Strong technical knowledge of electrical design including lighting and distribution

Experience with AutoCAD/Revit

Chartered or working towards Chartership
