Warehouse Operative – Alfreton, Derbyshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Alfreton, Derbyshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00 rotating weekly

Rates of Pay

• £14.22 per hour basic
• £25.16 per hour overtime

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Picking and packing customer orders for the supply chain
• Stock control and restocking shelves
• Accepting incoming deliveries and processing orders
• Counting inventory and ensuring orders are dispatched in a timely manner
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Lifting and carrying items up to 15kg
• Supporting other warehouse duties as required

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• Basic level of English (spoken and written)
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Flexible and open to change
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass a basic English and numeracy test
• Physically fit and able to lift items up to 15kg
• Ability to meet demanding targets and maintain high standards

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment

Training Provided

• Full training provided with additional ongoing support
