Junior Housekeeper - Central London (Hyde Park)

Salary: £45,000-£46,000

A motivated and hands on Junior Housekeeper is required for a substantial private residence in Central London, moments from Hyde Park. The home is arranged over six floors with a roof garden and an adjoining mews currently undergoing refurbishment.
As the junior Housekeeper, you will work closely with the senior housekeeping team, supporting the smooth day to day running of the home and upholding the highest standards throughout.
This role would suit a candidate with some private household or luxury hospitality experience who is keen to develop within a professional, well managed environment.
Duties will include:

• Supporting the housekeeping team with daily cleaning and presentation of the residence
• General cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas
• Assisting with deep cleaning on a rotational basis
• Laundry and ironing, including care of delicate fabrics (training provided where required)
• Bed making and turndown service
• Maintaining back-of-house areas to an organised standard
• Assisting with household errands and stock control
• Supporting during periods of entertaining
• Helping with the care of two Golden Retrievers, occasional walking in private gated garden

The ideal candidate:

• Has 2-3 years' experience within a private household or 5* hospitality
• Is eager to learn and develop their skillset
• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work
• Is well presented, punctual and reliable
• Works well as part of a team and takes direction positively
• Is discreet and understands the importance of confidentiality
• Is comfortable around dogs
