Upper KS2 Supply Teacher – Grimsby & Surrounding Areas

Job Type: Flexible Supply (Mon–Fri)

Pay: £135–£170 per day

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Upper KS2 Supply Teacher to support schools across Grimsby, delivering pre-planned lessons, inspiring learners, and enjoying the freedom that supply teaching brings.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Teaching across KS2 with pre-planned lessons ready to go
• Bringing positivity, structure, and strong routines to the classroom
• Creating an engaging learning environment where pupils feel confident to shine
• Supporting the KS2 curriculum including literacy, numeracy, reasoning, and wider topic work
• Building strong relationships with pupils and staff across different schools
• Working flexibly from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements

• Enthusiastic about teaching and learning and supporting pupil progress
• Skilled in behaviour management and promoting positive attitudes
• Adaptable, reliable, and committed to safeguarding
• Quick to build rapport with KS2 pupils

What You’ll Need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working in UK primary schools (KS2 essential)
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Strong behaviour management skills and classroom management
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
