Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in Hounslow, West London. The ideal candidates will have a significant understanding of mental health nursing within the NHS.
We are looking for skilled, experienced CPNs to join this multidisciplinary London-based Recovery Team.
You will need to demonstrate a commitment to a modern delivery of mental health recovery interventions and ensure that the principles of hope, recovery and opportunity feature in your everyday practice.
It’s an exciting time to join this service as they are currently developing specific care pathways — Psychosis, Personality Disorder and Complex Depression Anxiety and Trauma — to improve the service user experience for all adults.
To be successful, you will need to be able to work under pressure, be competent in carrying out mental health assessments, carry a caseload of service users, and have the ability to use therapeutic interventions within the relevant pathway.
Duty work experience will be beneficial.
The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse is £25.00
(umbrella) and is to start as soon as possible.Requirements for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:
- You must be a registered mental health nurse with a valid NMC.
- Must have recovery team experience.
- Must have experience with mental health.
- Must have a natural care for others.
- Preferably a driver, although not essential.
