Technical Manager - Residential Developer

Up to £70k DOE plus company package

About the Company:

The opportunity is to join a fast paced expanding privately owned Residential Developer as a Technical Manager. They specialise in high quality residential and mixed use residential developments across the Home Counties and the South East. They have a reputation for regenerating redundant sites and transforming them into vibrant housing and apartment schemes. They undertake anything from refurbishment's of listed buildings through to large new build developments.

About the Role:

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Technical Manager. They are looking for someone who has a solid work background and who has experience working for a Residential Developer. It is essential that you have knowledge of building processes covering, residential projects with ideally traditional build homes. Duties include but not limited to:

• To manage the design process within a residential development project

• Monitor and advise on alternative, beneficial design as and where appropriate

• Liaise and ensure design implementation at contractor level is running smoothly

• To act as the primary contact for the design teams and production teams

• To advise on cost effectiveness of alternative methods of construction

• To co-ordinate the design information supplied to our construction division

• To manage compliance checks against specification and client requirements

• To manage design output to agreed programmes

• To liaise with Local Authorities, Building Control and Planning Departments

About the benefits / rewards:

The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £70k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.

Requirements:

• Ideally working as a technical manager or senior technical coordinator

• Must have worked for a Residential Developer within recent years

• Must have residential build experience

• Must be able to demonstrate job loyalty

• Degree preferred
