Job Scope:

We are recruiting for our client an experienced and compassionate Children Registered Manager to lead a well-established childrens residential home supporting young people with autism and emotional behavioural difficulties. The Children Registered Manager will be responsible for creating and sustaining a nurturing, therapeutic environment that reflects the homes vision of more home, less institution.

The Children Registered Manager will oversee care delivery, ensuring that all safeguarding measures, regulatory requirements, and internal policies are met. They will lead and supervise a fully staffed team, providing clear direction, regular supervisions, and support for ongoing professional development. The Children Registered Manager will ensure all plans, reports, and records are accurate, up to date, and reflect the needs of each child. This role also involves close collaboration with in-house social workers, families, and local authorities to ensure tailored, outcome-focused support for every young person.

Do you have?

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a managerial role within children’s residential care
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare, or willing to complete.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
  • Proven ability to support children with autism and emotional behavioural difficulties
