As a Night Support Practitioner, you’ll be there during the quietest hours offering calm, steady support when it’s most needed. Whether it’s settling worries, offering a reassuring presence, or simply being someone who listens, you’ll help children feel safe and cared for through the night.

You’ll be working in one of our small, homely houses, where children live as part of the local community and attend our purpose-built school nearby. Everything we do is about creating structure, comfort and the space to grow and that includes night-time too.

Although your shifts are overnight, you’re very much part of the wider team. You’ll work closely with others who share your passion for understanding behaviour, building trust, and supporting the whole child not just managing the moment.

We’d love to hear from you if you’ve got an HNC in Social Care and SVQ Level 3, plus some experience in care or education. But if you’ve got the right values, patience, and a genuine desire to support children through challenging moments, we’ll give you all the training you need.

They live in small community homes and attend our brand-new school nearby it’s all designed with their future in mind.As a Night Support Practitioner, you’ll be the calm, reassuring presence they can count on. You’ll help settle worries, offer comfort when it’s needed most, and build trust in those quieter moments.

You won’t be doing it alone.Even though you’re working through the night, you’re a full part of our close-knit team all working together to support the whole child, not just their behaviour.

  • Ideally, you’ll have an HNC in Social Care and SVQ Level 3, plus some experience in care or education.
  • A driving licence is essential

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
