HARDWARE TEST METHODOLOGY ENGINEER Curious, analytical minds wanted! As part of AMD's Virtual Bring-Up (VBU) central methodology team you will work across AMD's product portfolio to develop and enable methodology and tools to tackle key design cycle challenges for the company by leveraging Accellera Portable Stimulus Standard (PSS), hardware-based emulationprototyping and virtual platform technologies. Ideal candidate would have interest in hardware design, firmware, OS, and software development with focus on best practices for design, verification, and ease of debug. Key Responsibilities Development of AMD wide Portable Stimulus tests and infrastructure for various design IPs and SoCs Development of technologies for hybrid emulation that includes Virtual platform and hardware accelerators. Development and support of emulation infrastructure to support complex IP and SoC. Synthesizable transactors, C++, SystemC or UVM testbench, Fully synthesizable testbench Partner with customer teams across AMDrsquos business units to enable the methodologies, as well as improve execution efficiency. Preferred Experience Hardware design, verification, or firmware background High-level programming with C++, Python, Perl, Ruby, C Experience with RTL design simulation and verification Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar backgrounds considered. Computer architecture and standard hardware IPs like PCIe, USB, Display, Video, Audio etc. Interaction of hardware and software Clean software architecture Academic Credentials B.S. or higher in Computer Engineering or Computer Science preferred
