A high-achieving secondary school in South West London is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join their thriving department from September 2025. The school prides itself on excellent results at both GCSE and A Level, alongside a commitment to the personal development of every student.

This Teacher of Science role offers the chance to work in a well-resourced department with ten specialist laboratories, dedicated science technicians, and strong uptake of Science at A Level. You will have the opportunity to teach across KS3-KS5, with support for both experienced teachers and early career teachers.

Teacher of Science - Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons in line with curriculum objectives.

Option to teach specialism to KS5/A level
Inspire students of all abilities to achieve high academic standards.

Contribute to the wider school community through form tutoring and extracurricular involvement.

Collaborate with colleagues on teaching strategies and CPD opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:

PGCE with QTS (or equivalent) and ability to teach Science at secondary level.

Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, with the ability to teach to KS4 (KS5 desirable).

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

Commitment to personal development and the ethos of holistic education.
