Vehicle Technician

Our client, a privately owned garage located in North London, is seeking for Vehicle Technician to join their team.

The ideal candidate must have first-rate understanding of the car servicing market, knowledge of all brands and the ability to work with assurance and confidence.

Role: Vehicle Technician

Hours: Day Shift pattern

Location: North London

Key responsibilities:

* Perform MOT tests to DVSA standards.

* Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle issues.

* Carry out routine servicing and maintenance work.

* Complete vehicle health checks and report issues clearly to customers or supervisors.

* Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify vehicle faults.

* Maintain accurate records of all work completed and parts used.

* Ensure workshop health and safety procedures are followed.

* Keep up to date with MOT and vehicle repair industry standards.

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).

* Valid MOT Tester license (Class 4 minimum) issued by DVSA.

* Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic or technician.

* Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and repair.

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Full UK driving licence.
