Stable employer with long-term prospects on the contractJob Purpose: As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for performing planned and unplanned mechanical fitting activities to ensure the efficient operation of the contract and support client sites.

Principal Accountabilities:

Support the Line Manager in implementing Company policies, procedures, and standards.
Complete Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance to schedule with proper documentation.
Rectify defects while meeting safety and performance standards.
Perform routine maintenance work on mechanical systems.
Supervise specialist contractors and ensure compliance with client and Company requirements.
Liaise with the Helpdesk to respond to urgent maintenance tasks promptly.
Maintain good housekeeping and represent Company professionally.Person Specification:

ONC / OND, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant discipline.
Proven experience in a building services environment.
Knowledge of PSSR 2000, Confined Space, Legionella, and Permit to work systems.
Articulate, numerate, and IT literate.
Understanding of legislative compliance and contract law preferred.
Good knowledge of facilities management and building services engineering.
Ability to establish, implement, and monitor high standards of excellence.
Successful track record in health and safety assurance.
Strong decision-making and communication skills.
Resilience under pressure and ability to converse confidently with stakeholders.
Motivated self-starter with a proactive approach.Benefits:
