An industry-leading CNC machine tool distributor is seeking a Parts Coordinator to join their customer support team. The business supplies high-performance lathes, machining centres, and automation solutions to a wide range of sectors including Aerospace, Motorsport and Medical. This is a well-established company known not only for the quality and reliability of its machines, but also for its exceptional aftersales support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customers receive prompt, accurate, and effective technical parts support.

Role Overview:

The Parts Coordinator will be responsible for handling technical parts sales, assisting with parts identification, and ensuring the timely processing and dispatch of orders. The role requires close liaison with service engineers, suppliers, and overseas partners to manage warranty claims, maintain accurate stock records, and support profitability goals. It also includes general stores duties, goods handling, and administrative tasks related to invoicing and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide internal technical sales support for spare parts

Assist customers in identifying the correct components

Process orders efficiently and manage dispatch

Liaise with service teams, suppliers, and international contacts

Support warranty claim processes

Contribute to stock control and inventory accuracy

Assist with general stores duties and logistics tasks

Produce reports and support internal communication across departments

Person Specification:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Previous experience in internal sales or customer support

Proactive and self-motivated, with strong time management skills

Logical and methodical approach to problem-solving

Competent in Microsoft Office; familiarity with D365 or similar systems is advantageous

Comfortable working across departments and engaging with both internal teams and external customers

Essential Requirements:

Experience in a sales-based or customer service role

Strong IT skills and confidence using business software systems

Desirable:

Familiarity with machine tools and/or CNC equipment

Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, or parts diagrams
