Infrastructre Engineer - Newcastle Upon Tyne, Hybrid - £38,000

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to work for a fantastic and growing company, based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The company supports hybrid working, and you would be required to attend the office 2-3 times per week.

The successful Infrastructure Engineer will possess strong all round IT Infrastructure experience, and will have some knowledge of networking, communication systems and server technologies. You will be required to cover all of these technical areas at different times.

The right person for the Infrastructure Engineer role will have:

Experience supporting Windows Server (2012R2, 2016, 2019)
Strong knowledge of Cisco networking products
Knowledge of telephony systems
Working knowledge of VMWare architecture
Knowledge of SAN storage systems
The ability to work on and deliver full lifecycle IT projectsThe Infrastructure Engineer will get involved in the following tasks:

Working in the comms, networking, server and BAU teams at different times to build and broaden knowledge
Documentation and reporting
Gather requirements to build a project plan and follow to delivery
Mentor more junior colleagues
Manage and maintain relationships with IT suppliers
