In this trainee role, you’ll be working at the heart of the production process, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and timely flow of raw materials. You’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple sites, working closely with suppliers, production teams and engineering professionals.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Setting key planning parameters to ensure timely delivery of raw materials into production
• Monitoring and managing raw material inventory levels to meet production demand
• Maintaining accurate stock records through regular PI activity
• Tracking material usage rates and adjusting planning accordingly
• Creating material forecasts aligned to project milestones
• Problem-solving supply constraints to minimise production downtime
• Managing off-site customer-owned stock
• Reporting on KPIs including inventory turnover, shortages, stock levels and valuation

What We’re Looking For

• A highly self-motivated, enthusiastic individual eager to learn
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal
• Calm under pressure with clear, decisive thinking
• A team player with strong relationship-building skills
• IT-literate with experience using Microsoft Office

• An hourly rate of £12.71
• Full-time (Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 & Friday 08:00 - 15:30
