Production Engineer

Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider.

We are currently recruiting for a Production Engineer to join their team.

The main purpose of this opportunity is too co-ordination of all activities associated with progressing orders placed on the UK factory from receipt to despatch

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £38,000P/A, depending on experience.

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm Friday 8am - 1pm

Your responsibilities will include:

Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and capacity constraints
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment across departments
Ensure sufficient stock is maintained of components and consumables are held in stock to meet the demand of the order bank
Have a big involvement in the continuous improvements such as supporting in cost control, improve production layouts and material flow.
Have involvement with QHSE across the business 

The ideal candidate:

Degree level qualification in Manufacturing / Production Engineering or similar
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing to all levels
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
