About Directorate
Barnet Youth Justice Service (YJS) works with children and young people aged 10-18 years and their families to:

* Reduce the likelihood of young people re-offending
* Protect children and young people
* Protect members of the public
* Ensure that sentences are served
The YJS is a multi-disciplinary team of professionals and volunteers that work together using their varied knowledge and skills to improve outcomes for children and young people.

** An enhanced DBS will be required as part of the onboarding process if successful.
Training will likely last for 10 weeks, one evening a week and will run approx. Jan/Feb 2026.
