Rhubarb Recruitment is recruiting a Head Chef for a busy Mediterranean restaurant located in the centre of Bath. We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to support and oversee day-to-day kitchen operations. This role would be suitable for either an existing Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef. The restaurant is established with excellent reviews.

The restaurant is part of a small privately operated group, with the current Head Chef moving into a new executive chef role to oversee all restaurants in the group, you will work closely with him.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
• Knowledge of Greek or Mediterranean cuisine would be ideal but not essential.
• Ability to lead and manage a team, as well as work collaboratively with the Executive chef and restaurant management and staff.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: Basic salary £38k to £45k negotiable and depending on experience + service charge worth approximately £5,000 per annum.
