Are you a dedicated and experienced leader in domiciliary care looking for your next opportunity? Our client, a trusted and growing care provider based in Deal, is seeking a committed Registered Manager to oversee and develop their high-quality care service.

About the role:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service, ensuring compliance with all CQC requirements and delivering exceptional care to service users. Your role will involve team management, service development, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement.

Hours: 9 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday, with one week in five on call.

Key responsibilities:

* Lead, manage and support a team of coordinators and care staff

* Maintain registration with the CQC and ensure full regulatory compliance

* Develop and implement person-centred care plans and risk assessments

* Oversee audits, incident investigations, complaints, and safeguarding alerts

* Manage staffing levels, training, supervision, and appraisals

* Maintain CQC Regulations & H&S standards

* Manage staff, i.e. care coordinators and carers

* Monthly audits & Care assessments, creating care plans

* Interviewing staff

* HR - Dealing with 1-1, training and development

* Drive service improvements and enhance care quality across the board

* Liaise effectively with families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals

* Support service growth across private and public sector contracts

* Manage budgets and ensure the financial viability of the service

Essential requirements:

* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent)

* Minimum 2 years' experience managing a domiciliary care service

* Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager is preferred

* Strong knowledge of CQC standards, care legislation, and safeguarding procedures

* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable experience:

* Familiarity with rostering systems such as Careberry

* Experience in staff training and professional development

* Advanced understanding of safeguarding adults procedures
