Permanent Teacher of English (Mainly KS4: Collaborative Team) - Outstanding Southampton School (English Department)

An outstanding school in Southampton is seeking a collaborative and enthusiastic Permanent Teacher of English to join our supportive and well-established English Department, with a primary focus on delivering engaging lessons at Key Stage 4 (GCSE). You will work alongside experienced colleagues in a strong team dedicated to the success of our KS4 students.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and effective English lessons primarily to Key Stage 4 students within a collaborative team environment.

* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported to achieve their best in English.

* Contribute to the collaborative planning and development of teaching resources and schemes of work for KS4 English.

* Assess student progress and share effective teaching strategies within the KS4 team.

* Participate fully in departmental meetings, planning sessions, and collaborative initiatives focused on KS4 English.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
