Are you an experienced and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a rewarding role supporting children with special needs in a mainstream primary school?

ICTalent Recruitment is working with a wonderful mainstream primary school in South Birmingham to recruit a full-time HLTA to support KS1 children with special educational needs starting in September 2025. This role is offered on a temp to perm basis for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will:

Be an experienced HLTA with a background in supporting children with special educational needs

Have a passion for working with young learners and helping them reach their full potential

Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, working closely with teachers, parents, and outside agencies

Be proactive and adaptable to meet the needs of individual children

Have a positive and patient approach to supporting children with various learning challenges
