Location: East Anglia, predominantly Norfolk and Suffolk

Salary: £42,939 - £47,221 per annum

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Drainage Ganger Man to oversee, lead, and participate in maintenance operations within our drainage and civil engineering projects across residential and highway projects in East Anglia. This hands-on role not only requires working on the ground but also managing and leading small teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and lead small teams in the maintenance and repair of drainage systems, including benching manholes and gravity drainage.

* Actively participate in hands-on maintenance work, especially in drainage elements at depths of two to three meters.

* Plan and execute both reactive and planned maintenance tasks, ensuring all work is performed safely and to high standards.

* Monitor team performance and provide on-the-job training and support as necessary.

Requirements:

* CSCS card required.

* Streetworks ticket is highly desirable.

* Proven background in civil engineering or groundworks.

* Experience in a supervisory role within a relevant field.

* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage small teams effectively.

* Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to perform physical work in various outdoor environments.

* Valid driving license.
