Maths Teacher

• Salary Range: £168 - £232 per day
• Location: Rochdale and Bury area
• Job Type: Long-term and short-term contracts available

We are seeking a Maths Teacher available to start immediately for both long-term and short-term positions. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in teaching the Maths curriculum in UK schools and is adept at planning and marking.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Teach Maths to students according to the UK curriculum standards.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, attainment, and behaviour of students.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework.
• Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by school regulations.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maths Teacher in UK schools.
• Familiarity with the UK Maths curriculum and the requirements for assessment and marking.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to foster a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Must be able to start immediately.
