Financial Planning Administrator

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000

Location: Glasgow, Hybrid

You’ll be supporting Financial Planners and Paraplanner with client support, assisting with their Pension, Investments, Tax and Protection planning.

You’ll also get to work towards Financial Planning qualifications like the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning – which is hugely beneficial for deepen your knowledge and advance your career.

What will you be doing?

• Keep the back-office system updated with client details and compliance info
• Work with product providers for policy details, get illustrations for new requests, and handle policy queries
• Send out client communications like new business confirmations, updates, and info requests
• Process and track new business applications, making sure everything's recorded accurately on Intelligent Office
• Produce client valuations and review letters on time
• Manage changes to existing plans like fund switches, withdrawal changes, and death benefit nominations
• Gather plan info for Paraplanners and Advisers, updating the back-office system as needed
• Use the task system to track work to completion, following established processes
• Help with general office tasks like scanning and document storage
• Work with internal teams to ensure client account and portfolio tasks are completed efficiently

The ideal person:

• Experience of working in a similar Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Legal role.
• Professional experience with Microsoft Office, Teams, and Excel
• A basic understanding of Financial Planning products
• Experience with Intelligent Office would be a bonus
