About the Psychology Teacher Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join our high-achieving Social Sciences department. The successful Psychology Teacher will have the opportunity to teach A Level Psychology, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for this fascinating subject.

Key Responsibilities of the Psychology Teacher:

* Plan and deliver high-quality Psychology lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.

* Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to explore Psychology concepts and develop their critical thinking skills.

* Assess and monitor student progress in Psychology, providing constructive feedback and support.

* Contribute to the development of the Psychology curriculum and departmental resources.

* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Psychology and incorporate new research and theories into the classroom.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Psychology teaching.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* A degree in Psychology or a related field.

* Experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level.

* A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Psychology and A Level exam specifications.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
