Job Title: Acoustic Consultant
Location: Belfast
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 + Benefits

I'm working with a respected acoustics and environmental consultancy that's looking to hire an Acoustic Consultant for its expanding Belfast office. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a diverse workload of building acoustics and environmental noise projects across the UK and Ireland, while working within a supportive, well-established team.

You'll play a key role in delivering acoustic input across residential, commercial, education, industrial and infrastructure schemes-helping shape effective, sustainable design solutions from the early concept stage right through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver building acoustics design and environmental noise assessments

Complete noise and vibration surveys, modelling and detailed analysis

Produce high-quality technical reports and documentation

Work closely with clients, planners and multidisciplinary design teams

Support business development and provide guidance to junior staff

About You

Degree in Acoustics, Physics or related discipline

2-5 years' experience in building or environmental acoustics

Proficient with modelling software such as SoundPLAN, CadnaA, INSUL, CATT or Odeon

Solid understanding of UK standards/guidance (BS4142, BS8233, ProPG, etc.)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

IOA membership (or working towards it)

Full UK driving licence
